Dizzam
Haven't wrote in here in a long time! Obviously I've been busy with other things! Finals have started and this year is almost over. Wow!! I finished with what is suppose to be my hardest classes! I'm so happy school's over. 6 more days & I'll be in the comfort of my home! So much things have changed. This semester has been the most demanding that's for sure! I've never put so much time into homework and projects. I'm not even too sure I'm gonna make all A's this semester but if I do that means I made A's this whole year. That would be awesome!

Freedom!
Parents should always give their children freedom, because now that their children are old and can do whatever they want they start doing drugs, having babies, or drinking till they pass out. My mom practically gave me all the freedom in the world when I lived with her & now that I’m on my own I’m not all crazy party animal/ druggie. Just some advice for all those parents with young kids, give your children a lot of freedom so they wont be so eager to move out when they hit 18.

I enjoy the finer things in life.
What is "finer" to me may be "normal" for you, but lately I have been enjoying life just as I expected. Currently I'm an Austin ISD employee, I sub & I work as a Child Care Provider after school. I love that my job is easy it may sometimes be boring but for the most part I just watch kids.
I also just got back a couple days ago from New York City! It was a blast! I took my mom on a trip there for her birthday. I felt so privileged to be able to pay for my mom with my own money. I got to see everything from Central Park to the Statue of Liberty. I even got to see The Plaza hotel. Which is the reason why I wanted to go to NYC, because of the movie Elosie at the Plaza Hotel. I also walked around Times Square and even got to see Wall Street. It was very sad when I went to see ground zero. To know that thousands of people died right here and thousands of people ran for their life right here was very surreal. I even got to see the Brooklyn and Manhattan Bridge. Overall the trip was very successful, we saw everything we needed to see and more.
For Spring Break I'm planning on going to Panama City Beach in Florida with my sister and her friends. I'm so excited to be able to finally see pretty water and be on a pretty beach instead of nasty old Corpus and Padre.
As for school, this semester doesn't even feel like it started which I guess could be a good thing. I feel like I barely even have class because most of the time I'm in an elementary school. I'm only taking 13 hours which hopefully I can ace them all. Well that's my life right now. Ya know, enjoying the finer things in life and all. Oh yeah I'm planning on visiting Washington D.C. in May which means in April I have to go somewhere since it's my birthday month. We shall see :)

Imagination ...
"When King Lear dies in Act Five do you know what William Shakespeare has written? He’s written, He Dies.
That's all, nothing more. No fan fare, no metaphor, no brilliant final words.
The culmination of the most influential work of the dramatic literature is, He Dies. It takes Shakespeare’s genius to come up with, he dies.
And yet every time I read those two words I find myself overwhelmed with dysphoria.
And I know its only natural to be sad, but not because of the words he dies, but because of the life we saw prior to the words."
This quote comes from one of my favorite movies Mr. Magorium's Wonder Emporium. I think it's a perfect quote for right now. I just got back from attending my creative drama teachers' memorial service. It was so sad, I felt like I had known him forever by the way I was reacting to the speeches and video's. This man has performed and inspired so many people. During one of the speeches they said that Dr. Pascoe had the ability to make anyone feel special, and I certainly agree. I remember walking to my dorm one day after class and he was driving and he saw me and stopped and with a smile on his face asked where I was going. I told him I lived in a dorm and I'm on my way back to my room. He simply just said "Oh". With him doing that it made me feel like he knew I was a student of his, he knew who I was. Dr. Pascoe's class was exactly what it should be; fun! He had a wild imagination and to think he can no longer pass on the knowledge he had is very saddening. I can't believe he's gone, it makes me sad to think no one will ever get to hear him sing twinkle twinkle little star while we lay on the ground holding our glow in the dark stars above us. He was a jolly fellow and he always made me smile with the silly things he did. RIP Dr. Pascoe, you will forever be missed but you will certainly never be forgotten. I'll never forget when you told us you don't understand why people say "Can't wait till Friday" or "Can't wait till this weekend". You told us we should live each day as it comes and enjoy each day as it comes. Thanks for such an amazing experience.

-My parents, I love you.
-My friend Johnathon whom has pushed me to start caring about everything.
-My good grades...hehe. I hope they stay good.
-My height, it's been nice not having to always wear heels.
-My dad, you've made me love running and you've made me good at it when I try thanks for the genes.
-My job, I have stuck with the same job for 3 years thanks for the consistency.
-I'm thankful for me being so damn stingy, because now I have a good amount of money saved.
-My little adopted kids, you have made life fun when I come home to visit.
That's all I can think about for now.

...Family...
Just a random thought...
I think some members in my family don't like me. It's weird because aren't you suppose to like me? haha. I mean after all were family, and family stick together blah blah blah lol. Seriously though, do I hold my head up that high?? sheesh!
As for normal civilians I always get the feeling they don't like me because I think I'm "better" than them. All I have to say for the normal people out there is DUHHHH!!!! of course I'm going to have better things then you, and guess what you're going to have better things then me. I might have a nicer car and you might have nicer shoes. I can't be that better, I went to Southwest and I live in San Antonio. How much "better" can I get? HAHA
Much love,
Stephanie Pena

Dean's List!!
Yes you read right, I made the Dean's List. It's crazy because I set a goal to make the Dean's List in the summer and what do you know...I actually make it! I was so happy!! I've realized that when you set goals, you CAN actually achieve them if you try. When I was younger I never set goals or anything, I just went with the flow. But I've set so many goals for myself this past year and I have accomplished so much of them (maybe even all of them hehe). I'm really proud of myself for every single goal I have accomplished thus far.
I make new goals every chance I can. As of right now my only goal would be to do good in summer school, which means only A's. Let's see how that turns out lol. But one thing I do love to do when I accomplish a goal is to buy myself something. I bought myself a pretty watch, and I'm looking for a waterproof camera to buy. Yay to that!!! haha
